- May 25, 1927. Miss Blanche F. Webb, 300 West York Street, Norfolk, Virginia. My dear Miss Webb: The Graduate Nurses' Association of Virginia has just advised us of your willingness to serve as Secretary of our Virginia State Committee on Red Cross Nursing Service and recommends your appointment. We are very glad to'know that you are available for this servico and take pleasure in informing you that you are hereby appointed Secretary of the Virginia State Committee on Red Cross Nursing Service for the coming year. This appointment is made in accordance with the rules governing our Committees on Red Cross Nursing Service as set forth in the enclosed pamphlet, A.R.C. 710 and we would call your special attention to the paragraphs regarding State Committees as found on pages 5 and 6. For your information, we would state that the other nurses being appointed on the Virginia State Committee today are as follows: Miss ethel Smith, Chairman, Craigsville, Virginia. Miss Florence Black, 922 Floyd Avenue, Richmond, Va. Miss Natalie J. Curtis, Sheltering Arms Hospital, Richmond, Va. Mrs. Bernice R. Hancock, 402 Woods Ave., S. W., Roanoke, Va. Miss Virginia A. Henderson, Norfolk Protestant Hospital, Norfolk, Va. Miss Ruth Morton, 223 South Cherry Street, Richmond, Va. Mrs. Ruth H.
