My dear Miss Beard:
Sometime ago Miss Haupt told us that Miss Dunbar recently
made a trip to England to arrange the transfer of some of the Harvard Unit
Nurses to the Army Nurse Corps.
Would it be possible for you to tell us if Miss Catherine
L. Whyte, formerly with the Metropolitan Nursing Service, was one of the
nurses transferred to the Army.
