Miss Anna D. Wolf
Born June 25, 1890 in South India of missionary parents.
Education: B.A. Goucher College; Johns Hopkins Hospital School of Nursing,
Baltimore; M.A. Teachers College, Columbia University.
Positions held: Assistant superintendent of nurses, Johns Hopkins Hospital
School of Nursing; superintendent of nurses and dean of the school of nursing,
Peking (China) Union Medical College; associate professor of nursing and
director of nursing, University Clinics, University of Chicago; director of
the school of nursing and of nursing service, New York Hospital; director,
school of nursing and nursing service, Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Offices filled in state and national nursing organizations: Member, Board of
Directors and vice president, National League of Nursing Education; chairman,
NLNE Committee to Consider Lay Participation, Committee on Accrediting, Com-
mittee on Program, and Comaittee on Functions, also of Joint Committee on
