My dear Mrs. Bobb:
This is in reply to your letter
of May 26 relative to Miss Elizabeth Wright.
Tie were interested to learn of
Miss Wright's associ tion ith a Catholic Order,
not having known about it previously. This was
not the reason for her application for military
service not having been given favorable consid-
eration.
We have very definite reasons for
questioning Miss Wright's suitability for appoint-
ment wi th the Army Nurse Corps and under the
circumstances I think there is nothing further you
can do in regard to it except help her to accept
that decision if she is questioning it. I have
every reason to believe she too must realize that
there would be considerable question about her
suitability for such service.
