From January 1921 to November, Miss von Kurowsky was as-\nsigned to service with the Junior Red Cross in Roumunia, and rendered very satisfactory\nservice. Below I quote from letter received from Mrs. Moran, Bucharest, in regard to\nMiss Von Kurowsky's service with the J.R.C.I\nShe is an unusually earnest, conscien-\ntious worker; lovable to an extraordinary degree, and generous almost to a fault of time\nand effort\nI heartily recommend her is entitled to a certificate of merit for\nfaithful and efficient services.\n(December 13, 1921)\nLillian Spelman, Chief Nurse to Roumania:\n\"Miss Von Kurowsky has done very good Baby Welfare work during her four months of service\nin Roumania. ller ability to acquire a now language quickly makes her especially valuable\nfor foreign service.
