125 At a Seap Court, holden at Litchfield, in and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of Connecticut, on the 4th Tuesday of Jan. in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty mu PRESENT-HON. Surface Indye Be it Remembered, That on the Hind day of February in the of Canaan year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and /iftynine michael in said County of Litchfield, being an alien and a free white person, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention made by him before the suppire Cocunt in and /no the County of and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject. Approved 14th of April, 1802, as follows: STATE OF CONNECTICUT, COUNTY OF ss. the it Remembered, That on the 29th it day of Summary A. D. 185Y before the Superior Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per- sonally appeared, L.S. michael Fitepatrich of bunaun in said County, who was born in Kilkenny be, Internal aged about 26 years, and/on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten- tate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoric Deven of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where- of, I, Fud" Lo. Buman Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid. Inderiol D. Buman Clerk. And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said Titepatricl has resided within the United States five years at least, and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said Fillpatricle having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victeria Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court, that michael -Fitipatush be, and he was accordingly admitted to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES.
