in said County of Litchfield, being an alien and a free white person,
appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and
a
Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said
Henry s tickwell then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention
made him before

for Funfucu Country
and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Actto
establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject."

And it appearing the satisfaction of the Court, that said Hey Stinkwuter has resided

within the United States five years at least,

he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the
United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same.

having declared on oath, that he would support

CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce
and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prinee, Potentate, State or Sovereiguty whatever, and
particularly to bultua Guern
of the United Kingdom of
Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court,
that Henry Stickance
be, and he was accordingly admitted
to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES.
