310 : At alaphan as Court, holden at Litchfield, in and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of Connecticut; on the 4" Tuesday in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sexty nine PRESENT-HON Milu Manager ludge the it Remembertà, That on the 27 day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and lexty nine David Pitult to appeared of Raybury in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and in said County of Litchfield, being an alien and a free white person, a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said made by him before H.T.Blake duk of the Superior bout for the Earled Pickill then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention Couity oftanful and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th of April, 1802, as follows: STATE OF CONNECTICUT, COUNTY OF Fairful } ss. the it Remembered, That on the 26" day of March A. D. 184 before the having Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per- Jefferson Court, within and for said County, sonally appeared, David Pickett L. S. of Robbun, in ditchfuled in eaid County, who was born in Inland aged about 30 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten- tate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria quice of the United Kingdom, of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where- of, I, H.T.Blake Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid. Line to level Janil H.T.Blake Clerk. And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said David Pickitt has resided within the United States five years at least, and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said David Pickett having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiange and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoren Percuin of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court, that David Pickett be, and he was accordingly admitted of to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES. to
