PRESENT-HON. Duright Somis chudge II- of year of Reent but Lord Remembered, one thousand That eight on hundred the in said County and 3rd seventy of day one of carriary yohn an alien and Reardon a free white in de it the Litohfield, being person, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seall) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said get H him Reardon before then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention made by the Superior bourt for sair bounty and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th of April, 1802, as follows: COUNTY ofd Salehpild STATE OF CONNECTICUT, ss. the it Remembered That on the 25th of September day A. D. 1808 before the Superior Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdietjon, with a Clerk and a Seal, per- L.S. sonally appeared, of Kent County, who was born in borkles. Ireland in said aged about 33 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten- tate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria. Duan of the In Testimony Where- of, I, United of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he Clerk is now of said a subject. Court, have hereunto set my hand, and Seal of the said Court, the day Jans Ranson and year aforesaid, lo live bie Clerk. And it the appearing United to States the satisfaction five years at of least, the Court, that said entas has pill resided within and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. CONSTITUTION And the said John J Reardon STATES, and having declared did absolutely on oath, that and he entirely would support the OF THE UNITED that he renounce and abjure all allegiarée and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereiguty whatever, and particularly to Victoria Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britajo and Ireland, of, (hom he was before a subject.
