a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said

then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention
made by him before the beunty bountfor daid country
and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Actto
establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject."

of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where-

And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said Patrick Butt has resided
within the United States five years at least,
