    "ocrText": "51\nAt a Luperier Court, holden at Litchfield, in and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of\nConnecticut, on the 2nd Tuesday of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight\nhundred and lifty did\nhuro\nPRESENT-HON. In Lo. Punh deceive\nont\nthe it Remembered, That on the first October L\nday of\nin the\nyear of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and /i/ly six Jorhan Beel\nof Litchpille\nin said County of Litchfield, being an alien and a free white person,\nappeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and\na Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said\nIrhian Beel\nthen exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention\nmade by him before the Luperior beurt for Litch/ind\nCounty the 1514 day of Feb.\" 1853\nand required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled An Act to\nestablish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subjeet.\"\nApproved 14th of April, 1802, as follows:\nSTATE OF CONNECTICUT,\nCOUNTY OF Litotefine\n}\nss.\nthe it That on the 15th\nday\nof February\nA. D. 185.3, before the\nSu/mrier Court, within and for said County,\nhaving Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per-\nL. S.\nsonally appeared,\nJorhun Bell\nof Buthlen\nin said\nCounty, who was born in Lynmane Coc. Iacland\naged about 2\nyears, and on oath did declare that\nit was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE\nUNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten-\ntate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and partienlarly to Vieteria\nSeccer\nof the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where-\nof, I, Ludench Lo. Burnau\nClerk of said Court, have hereunto set my\nhand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid. Bime lo lena bosd\nFud iech Do. Burnan Clerk.\nAnd it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said derbuce Bell has\nresided\nwithin the United States five years at least,\nJenol 111 ovil botinU adt aidblw\nand in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years\nhe has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the\nUnited States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same.\nAnd the said rechance Bell\nhaving declared on oath, that he would support\nthe CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce\nand abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and\nparticularly to active seem\nof the United Kingdom of\nGreat Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. | It was therefore considered by the Court,\nthat dentunce Beel\nbe, and he was accordingly admitted\nto become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES.\n10"
