Country of Hariford.
Be it Reemembered, That Robert Davison
of Enfield
in said County of Hartford, but late of the
United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, appeared before the
County
Court for said County of Harlford, held at Hartford,
in said County, on the
29th day of March
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty mine
,
the said Court being a Court of Record, having common Law jurisdiction, and
a Clerk, and Seal, and declared on oath in ofen Court, that it was bona fide
his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all
allegiance and fidelity. to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Govereignty
whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen
of the Monited Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the Seal of said County
Court this 24th
day of
March
in the year of our Lord,
one thousand eight hundied and fortynine.
