State of Connecticut,
COUNTY OF HARTFORD.
}ss.
be it temembered, That Patrich Brae kway
Easthoutford in said County of Hartford, but late of the United
Kengdom of Great Britain and Ireland, appeared before chocuption
Court for said County of Harford, held at Hartford, in said County, on the
first day of April
in the year of our Lord one thousand
cight hundred and forty two the said Court being a Court of Record, having
Common Law jurisdiction, and a Clerk, and Seal, and declared on oath in open
Court, that it was bonafide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and
to venounce forever all ablegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State,
or Povereignty whatever, and particularly to Tutoria, Leven
of the Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
IN WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand
and affixed the Peal of said Sepinor
Court this first

April in the year of our Lord,
