brut late of the Kingdem. of Great Britain and Freland, appeared
before the County Court for sail county of Hartford, held at Hartford,
en said county, on the

year of our Lord one thorsand eight hundred and thuly light
(the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law
and a Elerk, and Seat,) and declared on oath in open Court, that it was
bonafide his intention to become a citizen of the Ubnited States, and to re=
nownce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate,
State, or Sovereignty particularlyto Victoria
Lunn as of the United Kingdom of Great
Pritain and Ireland

hereunto set my hand and affixed the
