Be it remembered, That skilliam BBrown
of Enficience
in said county of Hartford,
brut late of the Ubnited Kingdom of Great Britain and Freland, appeared
before the County Court for said county of Hartford, held at Hartford,
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty five
,
/the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law jurisdiction,
and a Elerk, and Seat,) and declared on oath in ofen Court, that it was
bonafide his intention to become a citizen of the Ptates, and to re-
nounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate,
State, or Sovereignty whatscever, and particularly to Killiam
the Fourth
King of the Unnited Kingdem of Great
