but late of the United Kinzdom of Great Britain and Ireland, appeared before
the County Court for said county of Hertford, heli at Hanford, in said county,
on the lurnly /1/th day of august in the year of our one thousand
eight hundred and thirty leve

ing a Couro of Reccrd, having Common Law jurisdiction, and a Clerk, and Seal.)
on oath
and declared in open Court, that it was bonafide hisintention to become a cilizen of the
States, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign
Prince, Potentate, Plate or Sovereignty whatsoever, and particularly to Wil
lian the fourth King of the Obnited Kingdom of Great
Bribain and Ireland.
