Court for said County of Hartford,

Court of Record, having common Law jurisdiction, and a Clerk, and Seal, and declared on oath in open
Court, that it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all
allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereiguty whatever, and particularly to
Victoria Queen
of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
