it That
John Channen
of Hourforce in said County of Hartford, but late of the United
Kengdom of Preat Britain and Ireland, appecared before the Suprinc or
Court for said County of Hareford, held at Harford, in said County, on the
hounty secondary of February in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and of orty being of
, the said Court a Court Record, having
Common Law jurisdiction, and a Clerk, and Seal, and declard on eath in open
Court, that it was bonafide his intention to become a citizen of the United Itales, and
to renounce forever all ablegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentale, State,
or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Vectona, Queen
of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
