By occupation Buffy Anderson Charles being duly sworn, deposes and says, that he above-named applicant for admission as a Citizen of the United States of America that he was born is in. the surdein on or about the 27 day of, Jan in the year one thousand nine hundred and 1874 and emigrated to the United States, landing yous at the Port of of newyork expand A. D. in the State and of, that newyout he now resides at No. on or abouty the Street, day Watebury that he has arrived/ at the age of twenty-one years; that in continuously within the State of Connecticut since Apul he has resided continuously within the United States since April 1843 and 1 893 and that said applicant did on the day of August 1 899 before the declare his intention to become a citizen of the United States and renounce and abjure all allegiance to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereignty whatsoever, etc., as appears by the certificate of the Clerk of said Court, here produced, and said applicant says he is the identical person named therein. Applicant further deposes and says. with that he does not disbelieve in nor is he opposed to all organized government, nor is he a member of or affiliated any vocate or teach the duty, necessity, or propriety of the unlawful assaulting or killing of any officer or officers, either organization entertaining or teaching such disbelief in or opposition to all organized government, nor does he ad- of specific individuals or of officers generally, of the Government of the United States or of any other organized govern- ment, because of his or their official character, nor has he violated any of the provisions of the Act of Congress entitled 'An Act to regulate the Immigration of Aliens into the United States," approved March 3, 1903. Applicant. being, dulv sworn, deposes and says, that he resides at ******* No. 190hm in natubuy State Connecticut, and is of by occupation a Buffer that he is a citizen of the United States of America, and personally acquaint- ed with the above-named applicant for admission to citizenship of the said United Statés and has known him 1894 for the past Oct years, to wit, from and that he resides at No. that his air occupation Street, is that in liabubury of, Buffer, under the to that he personally knows that the applicant has resided 'continuously within the limits and juris- diction of the United States of America sinte Riph continuously within State of Connecticut since Sept, 1 J94and that during the said time of his residence within the United States and within the State, he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. That in so far as he knows, is informed, or believes, the applicant does not disbelieve in nor is he opposed to all organized government, nor is he a member of or affiliated with any organization entertaining or teaching such dis- belief in or opposition to all organized government, nor does he advocate or teach the duty. necessity, or propriety of the unlawful assaulting or killing of any officer or officers, either of specific individuals or of officers generally, of the Government of the United States or of any other organized government, because of his or their official character, nor has he violated any of the provisions of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to regulate the Immigration of Aliensinto the United States," approved March 3. 1903.
