APPLICATION OF John Fireman William Millward To be Admitted a Citizen of the United States of America. By occupation John William applicant Millward Citizen 5 of being duly sworn, deposes and says, that he is/the above-named for admission as a the United States of America: that he was born in England eight hundred on or about the 16 day of lung in the year one thousand and and emigrated to the United States, landing at the Port of manyork A. D. in 896 the State and of that n.y. he now resides at No on or 36-Melbourn about the bank Street, day 28 of in april has nangating resided continuously that he has arrived at the age of twenty-one years that he within the United States since. continuously within the State of Connecticut since april april 896 and 1896 and that said applicant did on the 6 day of D.A. 898 before the declare his intention to become a citizen of the United Statesan renounce allegiance to any no street le out of waterling and abjure an foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereignty whatsoever, etc., as appears by the certificate of the Clerk of he is the identical named therein. Applicant further said deposes Court, and here says, produced, and said applicant says person such organized disbelief government, in or to is all he that he does not disbelieve in nor is he opposed to all nor a member of or affiliated with any organization entertaining or teaching opposition or- ganized government, nor does he advocate or teach the duty, necessity, or propriety of the unlawful assaulting or killing of any officer or officers, either of specific individuals or of officers generally, of the Government of the United States or of any other organized government, because of his or their official character, nor has he violated any of the provisions of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to regulate the Immigration of Aliens into the United States," approved March 3, 1903. Thomas B somelow being duly sworn, deposes and says, that he resides at No 44M albourn bourt Street, in nangature State of Connecticut, and is by occupation a roynam tending that he is a citizen of the United States of America, United and personally and has acquainted with/ the above-named applicant for admission to citizenship of the said States, known him for the past Oil 1904 8 years, to is wit. that from of Friend lung an 1896 to and that he resides at No 36Mslbours that his occupation, bour n any stuch and under Street, in that he personally knows that the applicant has resided continuously within the limits the juris- diction State of of Connecticut the United since States of America aug since ang 886 1896 during the said of his and continuously within and that residence within the United States and within the State, he has behaved as a man of good moral character, and attached happiness of the same. That in so far as he knows, is informed, or believes, the applicant with does not to the principles of the Constitution of the United States and well disposed to the good order disbelieve in is he opposed to all organized government, nor is he a member of or affiliated any organization en- tertaining the necessity, or teaching or propriety of the unlawful assaulting or killing of any officer or officers, either specific nor such disbelief in or opposition to all organized government, nor does he advocate of or teach, in- dividuals duty, of officers generally, of the Government of the United States or of any other organized government, because of or his their official character, nor has he violated any of the provisions of the Act of Congress entited " An Act to regulate or the Immigration of Aliens into the United States," approved March 3, 1903.
