By occupation being duly sworn, deposes and says, that he is the above-named a Citizen of the United States of America that he was born appligant for admission as in, England on or 1854 about the The day of January in the year one thousand of, march A. D. 1 the 881 State and of that Pennsylvania he now resides at No (on or about 162 the Bank 4th chiladelphia and emigrated to the Uhited States, landing jat the Port day of, Street, in that he has arrived at the age of twenty-one years; that he has resided continuously within the United States since march 4- 881 and continuously within the State of Connecticut since January 1890 and that said applicant did on the 26 day of october 1 894 before the declare his intention to become a citizen of the United States renounce and abjure allegiance to any foreign The District and Count of Witestry all Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereignty whatsoever, etc., as appears by the certificate of the Clerk of said Court, here produced, and said applicant says he is the identical person named therein. Applicant further deposes and says, that he does not disbelieve in nor is he opposed to all organized government, nor is he a member of or affiliated with any organization entertaining or teaching such disbelief in or opposition to all organized government, nor does he ad- vocate or teach the duty, necessity, or propriety of the unlawful assaulting or killing of any officer or officers, either of specific individuals or of officers generally, of the Government of the United States or of any other organized govern- ment, because of his or their official character, nor has he violated any of the provisions of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to regulate the Immigration of Aliens into the United States," approved March 3, 1903, Sworn to before me, this 26 day of. John H Malone being dulv sworn, deposes and says, that he resides at No 1229 Bank Street, in walebriting State of Connecticut, and is by occupation a Joolmaker that he is a citizen of the United States of America, and personally acquaint- ed with the above-named applicant for admission to citizenship of the said United States, and has known him for the past 14 years years, to wit, from January di 1890 to september 26- 1162 1903 Bank that his occupation is that of, madiment and that he resides at No. Street, in Watering that he personally knows that the applicant has resided continuously within the limits and under the juris- diction of the United States of America since January 1890 and continuously within State of Connecticut since, January oggo and that during the said time of his residence within the United States and within the State he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same.
