CITY OF wATERURY.
BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the
20
day of
October
A. D. 1880, before the City Court,
within and for said City, having Common Law jurisdiction,
with a Clerk and a Seal, personally appeared,
John Unwin
of
Thousaston
who was born in England aged about leo
years, and on oath did declare that it was BONA FIDE his inten
tion to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES,
and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and
Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Brit-
ain and Ireland, to of Germany
of whom he is now a subject.
