D. 1884\nBE IT REMEMBERED, That on the\n18\nday of October\nin said year,\nInderick W, Drich mann\nof Thomaston\nin the County of Litchfuld\nappeared before said Court, the same being a Court of\nRecord, with common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and made application to the said Court,\nto become a citizen of the United States: And upon examination first had, it being made to ap-\nand\nthis\nCourt having found to their satisfaction, that the said applicant is a free, white male\npear, person of lawful age, an alien and a subject of Vietoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great\nBritain and Ireland, William I. Emperor of Germany\nthat he is now of the age of 32 years that he was born in Germany\nin\nsaid Kingdom ; that he has resided in the United States constantly for more thán five years\nlast\npast, and in State of Connecticut and within the Jurisdiction of this Court for more than one\nlast past, and that he has during all said time behaved himself as a good citizen, has a good and\nyear moral character, and is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States,\nsaid well applicant disposed to did, pursuant to the laws of the United States. appear before the Common\nthe good order and happiness of the same. It also appearing to this Court, that Pleas\nCourt within and for Oily of County of New back\nthe\n18 day of December A. D. 1877, the same being a Court of Record with his\non Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and on oath did declare that it was BONA FIDE for-\ncommon intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity\never to Foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly of to\nVictoria, every Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, William I. Emperor\nGermany\nas on by that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance to Vietoria, to\nthe Record of said court appears. And the said applicant now here in this Court, and fidelity declares\nevery Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, William I. Emperor\noath, Foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly of Germany\nof whom he is now a subject, and he also declares on oath, that he will support the Constitution of\nthe United States of America.\nWherefore. the said applicant is hereby, by this Court, admitted and declared to be a citizen\nof the United States of America.\nClerk."
