Me it Remembered, That on the 24th day of March
in the of our
Lord thousand eight hundred fifty- 60 year
one and
of
in said County of New London, appeared in
open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a
Clerk and Seal,) and to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the
said
then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the
declaration
of intention made by him before the betty Cankfor the ledy
of Monuick an the 22 w clay if nerculen

as on file, and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress
entitled "An Act to establish a uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore
passed on that
and it to the satisfaction
subject." Approved 14th of the April, Court 1802. that the said thomas
has resided within the United States five years at least, and
in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as
a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United
Statés, compet
and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said
having declared on oath, that he would support
the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely
renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sove-
reignty whatever, and particularly to
Compen of Senucy
ofthe United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was,
therefore, considered by the Court, that Chenral
be, and
hereby is accordingly admitted to become a citizen of the UNITED STATES.
