the age of eighteen years; that it was then, ever since has been, and still is bona fide his intention to become a
citizen of the United States of America, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince,
Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly Inven rictoria

whose subject he has heretofore been.
AND THE SAID Henry Therrien
further represents,
that he has ever since continued within the jurisdiction of the United States ; that he has never borne any
hereditary title, or been of any of the orders of nobility ; that he is ready to renounce and abjure all allegiance
and to State to Duren
fidelity every foreign Prince, Potentate, or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly
