To the Honorable Superior Court, Now in session at Brooklyn, Putnom in and for the County of Windham Morris Nehan now resident at Thompson I wrden in said County, respectfully represents that he was born in Norway in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ircland, on or about on the 10 th of November day A. D. 18 61 and is no about 3/ years of age ; and that he arrived at United Tatas of America on or about the 22 day of December A. D. 18 82. that it was then, and still is bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States of America, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Vietoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ircland, Osear H of the unite King whose subject he has heretofore been all of which appears on the record of the honorable Court, holden at Pusnom, Conn, in and for the County of Hindham actober in the year of am Lord one thousan. Eight on the 24th day of hundred and ninety. Tuesday of A. D. , a certified copy of which record is herewith exhibited. AND THE SAID Momis Nelson further represents, that he has ever since continued within the jurisdiction of the United States; that he has never borne any hereditary title, or been of any of the orders of nobility; that he is ready to renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Viotoria, Quoon of the United King dom of Great Britain and Treland. Osca II, King of the United Keydom of Switch Norway whose subject he has heretofore been ; that he is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States of America, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. WHEREUPON, he prays that he may be admitted to become a citizen of the United States of America, ac- cording to the forms of the Statute in such case made and provided. And as in duty bound will ever pray. Dated at Thompson, Conn, this 28th day of October A. D. 18 92. Marris Nelson I do solemnly swear that I will support the CONSTITUTION of the UNITED STATES, and that I hereby renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, particularly to Victoric Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Iroland area II, King of the united King Jone of Swarm norway So HELP ME GOD.
