Record, having common Law jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal, and declared on oath that it was
bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce for ever all
allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereignty whatever, and par-
ticularly to the Government of great Intain reland
