233 STATE OF OONNECTIOUT ss. COUNTY OF NEW HAVEN: TO BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the 11th day of April before me Robty. Usboin Clerk of the County Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction with a Clerk, and a Seal, personally appeared, Edward Gwinnell of new Haven in said County, who was born in lenglast aged about 44 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject.--IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Robert Ooborn Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid but Robert 16 Osform Clerk.
