D. 1861. before me Clerk of the County Supeion Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction with a Clerk, and a Seal, personally appeared, John Rogers of newthaven in said County, who was born in relard aged about 38 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United, Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject.--IN TESTPMONY WHEREOF, I, bm arthur L.
