397 STATE OF CONNECTIOUT ss. COUNTY OF NEW HAVEN: BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the 9th before me , ArthurD. Ossorne, Clerk of the County Superior day of Septem ber, A. D. 1867. Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction with a Clerk, and a Seal, personally appeared, genemich them, of Bethany in said County, who was born in Ireland, aged about 23 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject.--IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Arther D. Osforne, Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid. Other D. Orbons, Clerk. STATE OF CONNECTICUT ss.
