525 STATE OF OONNECTIOUT ss. COUNTY OF NEW HAVEN: in BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the 15th day of March A. D. 1882, before me Arthur D Osbarne Clerk of the County Supervice red, Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction with a Clerk, and a Seal, personally appeared, Melthias Varvinkel in of New Haven in said County, who was born in his Germany aged about 4 2 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his and intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and en fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen The Emperar of lumany I, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject.--IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, and Arthur D Osbarne Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid.
