538. STATE OF CONNECTIOUT SS. COUNTY OF NEW HAVEN: 10 BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the 19th day of March A. D. 1882, before me Aethur D Ostorne Clerk of the County Supervice Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction with a Clerk, and a Seal, personally appeared, Thomas about of Beacan Falls in said County, who was born in Scotland aged about 21 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject.--In TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Arthur Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid.
