11 STATE OF CONNECTIOUT, .9 ss. COUNTY OF NEW HAVEN: 10 BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the 27th day of October A. D. 1852, before me Robith Oaborn Clerk of the County Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction with a Clerk, and a Seal, personally appeared, William Shanley of newaen in said County, who was born in grelaned aged about 28 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject.--In TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, nobra Ooborn Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid.
