    "ocrText": "United States of Amerita, State of connecticut,\nAt a Superin Court, holden in and for the County of New Haven, on the 2d\nJues\nday of October\nA. D. 1848.\nBE IT REMEMBERED, That on\nthe 11th\nday of October\nin said year\nappeared before said Court, the same being a Court of Record, with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and made\nsamel Cunningham of Naterbary m said County\napplication to said Court to become a Citizen of the United States: And upon examination first had, it being made to appear,\nand this Court found to their satisfaction that\nhaving the said Damel bunningham\nis a free white male\nperson of lawful age, an alien and a subject of Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland,\nthat he Show of the age of 28\nreland\nyears, that he was born in\nin said\nKingdom, that he has resided in the United States constantly for more than five years last past, and in said State of Connecti-\ncut for more than one year last past, and that he has during all said time behaved himself as a good citizen, has a good moral\ncharneter, and is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and\nhappin SS of the same. It also appearing to this Court that said Duniel lumungham did,\npursuant\n10\nthe\nlaws of the United States, appear before the Charles A Ingerson Eng Clerk of the\nDistrict Court\nGourt within and for the Stare of Connecticut\non the\n25th\nday of apric\nA. D. 1846 , the same being a Court of Record with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and on Oath did declare\nthat it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity forever\nto every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom\nof Great Britain and Ireland,\nas by appear. And the said Daniel Cunning have\nthe Records of said Court\nnow here\nin this Court declares on Oath, that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every for-\neign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great\nBritain and Ireland,\nof whom he is now a subject, and he also declares on Oath, that he will support the Constitution of the United States of Amer-\nica. Wherefore the said Daniel Cunringham\nis hereby, by this Court, admitted and declared\nto be a Citizen of the United States of America.\nSTATE OB CONNECTIOUT\n}\nss.\nCOUNTY OF NEW HAVEN:\nBE IT REMEMBERED, That on the\n5th\nday of April\nA. D. 1817\nbefore thest bsoriber Court. within and for said County,\nhaving Common Law Jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a\nSeal, personally appeared,\nPeter Curran of Bistolin\nof\nHarlford\nCounty, who was born in Ireland\naged about\n25\nyears, and on Oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a\nOILIZEN OF THIS U NITED STATES and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign\nPrince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great\nBritain and Ireland,\nof whom he is now a subject.\nIn Testimony Whereof, I, Rithle Orborn\nClerk of said Court, have hereunto set my\nhand and the Seal of said Court, the day and year aforesaid.\nR.H.
