Patrick Butter of Nangatuck hi said Country
in said year
appeared before said Court, the same being a Court of Record, with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and made
and this Court having found to their satisfaction that the said Datrick Butter is
application to said Court to become a Citizen of the United States in And upon examination first had, it being made to appear,
a free white male
person of lawful age, an alien and a subject of Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland,

Kingdom, that he has resided in the United States constantly for more than five years last past, and in said State of Connecti-
cut for more than one year last past, and that he has during all said time behaved himself as a good citizen, has a good moral

of whom he is now a subject, and he also declares on Oath, that he will support the Constitution of the United States of Amer-
ica. Wherefore the said Latrick Butter
is hereby, by this Court, admitted and declared
to be a Citizen of the United States of America.
