D. 1851.\nJohn REMEMBERED, A.Bland That on the of seymone 11th day of Bechuary intraie in said year County\nBE IT\nappeared before said Court, the same being a Court of Record, with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and made\napplication to said Court to become a Citizen of the United States : And upon examination first had, it being made to appear,\nand this Court having found to their satisfaction that the said point. Blant is a\nfree white male\nperson of lawful age, an alien and a subject of Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland,\nthat he is now of the age of\n39\nyears, that he was born in England\nin said\nKingdom, that he has resided in the United States constantly for more than five years last past, and in said State of Connecti-\ncut for more than one year last past, and that he has during all said time behaved himself as a good citizen, has a good moral\ncharacter, and is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and\nhappiness of the same. It also appearing to this Court that said John A. Bland\ndid, pursuant\nto\nthe\nlaws of the United States, appear before the benefly g Lewis blerk of the\ncity\nCourt within and for the City of new Hewen\non the 16th\nday of July\nA. D. 1847 the same being a Court of Record with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk Seal, and on Oath did declare\nthat it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity forever\nto every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom\nof Great Britain and Ireland,\nas\nby\nin this on Oath, that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every for-\nthe Court Records declares of said Court appear. And the said Golan A.Bland\nnow here\neign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great\nBritain and Ireland,\nof whom he is now a subject, and he also declares on Oath, that he will support the Constitution of the United States of Amer-\nica.\nbe Wherefore Citizen of the the United said States of America. A. Bland is\nhereby, by this Court, admitted and declared\nto a\nSTATK OF\nCOUNTY OF NEW HAVEN:\nss.\nBE IT REMEMBERED, That the the etg.\non\nday of March\nbefore the me Ueny Esacture Cburt, within and for said County, having Common Law Jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a\nA. D. 1840\nSeal, of Nansaluck personally appeared, Thomas Campbell in said County, who was born in Reland\naged about\n25\nyears, and on Oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a\nOITIZIEN OF THE 0 TNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign\nPrince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great\nBritain and Ireland,\nof whom he is now a subject.\nIn Testimony Whereof, I,\nUeny G Eriv\nClerk of said Court, have hereunto set my\nhand and the Seal of said Court, the day and year aforesaid.\nUevy 1.
