D. 1851. kehmane of wandbird in said BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the 26th day of march in said year faceb appeared before said Court, the same being a Court of Record, with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and made application to said Court to become a Citizen of the United States: And upon examination first had, it being made to appear, and this Court having found to their satisfaction that the said fresh Reheare is a free white male person of lawful age, an alien and a subject of Viotoria, Quoo of the United Kingdom of Groat Britain and Iroland, the and doweigng of Susterland that he is now of the age of 27 years, that he was born in disiterland in said that he has resided in the United States constantly for more than five years last past, and in said State of Connecti- eut for more than one year last past, and that he has during all said time behaved himself as a good citizen, has a good moral character, and is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said Jacob Jehnord. now here in this Court declares on Oath, that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every for- eign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Viotoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland the Republic and Sovering my of whom he is now a subject, and he also declares, on Oath, that he will support the Constitution of the United States of Amer- ica. Wherefore the said pacob Jehnson is hereby, by this Court, admitted and declared to be a Citizen of the United States of America. STATE OF CONNECTIOUT, } ss.
