D. 185 7.\nBE IT REMEMBERED, That on the\nyou\nday of April\nin said year Thousand\na\nsaid\nCounty\nappeared before said Court, the same being a Court of Record, with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and made\napplication to said Court to become a Citizen of the United States: And upon examination first had, it being made to appear,\nand this Court having found to their satisfaction that the said Thomas blaskar is a free\nwhite male\nperson of lawful age, an alien and a subject of Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland,\nthat he is now of the age of\n29\nyears, that he was born in Ireland\nin said\nKingdom, that he has resided in the United States constantly for more than five years last past, and in said State of Connecti-\neut for more than one year last past, and that he has during all said time behaved himself as a good citizen, has a good moral\ncharacter, and is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and\nhappiness of the same. It also appearing to\nthis Court that said Thomas blaskare\ndid, pursuant\nto\nof the Districk Codert of the united Nates of\nthe laws of the United States, appear before the profession bleareland blerk\nAmerica\nCourt within and for the District of connecticul\non the\n3°\nday of April\nA. D. 1843, the same being a Court of Record with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and on Oath did declare\nthat it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity forever\nto every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom\nof Great Britain and Ireland,\nas by the Records of said Court appear. And the said Thomas Clarkan\nnow here\nin this Court declares on Oath, that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every for-\neign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great\nBritain and Ireland,\nof whom he is now a subject, and he also declares on Qath, that he will support the Constitution of the United States of Amer-\nica. Wherefore the said Thomas blarkara\nis hereby, by this Court, admitted and declared\nto be a Citizen of the United States of America.\nSTATE OF OONNHOTOUT\nss.\nCOUNTY OF NEW HAVEN:\nBE IT REMEMBERED, That on the\nday of november\nA. D. 1850.\nbefore the Court, within and for said County, having Common Law Jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a\nSeal, personally appeared,\nfolue Kannady\nof Woodbridge\nin said County, who was born in Ireland\naged about\n<2/\nyears, and on Oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a\nOF UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign\nPrince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great\nBritain and Ireland,\nof whom he is now a subject.\nIn\nTestimony Whereof, I, Robty. Osborn\nClerk of said Court, have hereunto set my\nhand and the Seal of said Court, the day and year aforesaid.\nClerk."
