It also appearing to this Court, that said applicant arrived in the United States of America before attaining to the age of eighteen years, and that he has continued to reside therein thence hitherto,-and he now here on oath declares, that for three years last past it has been, and now is bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity forever to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
