Meiden BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the 27 day of March in said year George Unurin of in said County, appeared before said Court, the same being a Court of Record, with common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and made application to said Court, to become a citizen of the United States And upon examination first had, it being made to appear, and this Court having found to their satisfaction, that the said applicant is a free white male person of lawful age, an alien, and a subject of Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, that he is now of the age of 51 years; that he was born in England in said Kingdom; that he has resided in the United States constantly for more than five years last past, and in said State of Cormecticut for more than one year last past, and that he has during all said time behaved himself as a good eitizen, has a good moral character, and is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. It also appearing to this Court, that said applicant did, pursuant to the laws of the United States. appear before the enlist in the any of the United States andwas honorably discharged and for on the 20th day of A. D. 185 0 . the being. Gourt-of Record, with-common Law Jurisdietion, Clerk Seal, and Dathddit November same a a and a on dcolare that it was bons fide his intention to become a eitizen- of the United States, and to renounce aH-allegiance and fidelity forever to every Foreign Privee, Potentate, Stateand Sovereignty whatever.and particularly to Victoria, Queen f the United Kingdom of Groat Britain-end treland,sbytheecon of And the said applicant, now here in this Court, declares on Oath, that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject, and he also declares on Oath, that he will support the Constitution of the United States of America.
