London, in the State of Connecticut, on the 3rd Tuesday of September
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty. six

it Bemembeyed, That michael leumbors
of Horrich in the County of New London,
but late of the
Kingdom of Empire of Germany
appeared before the Superior Court
in and for said County of New London, at Vorwich,
in said County, on the
25th
day of October
A. D. 1886
The said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction and a Clerk and Seal,
and declared on Oath that it was bona fide his intention to become a Citizen of the United States, and
to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereignty
whateyer, and particularly to the Government of the Emperor of
Germany
