Smith and George n. schultze to me well Kumn who Thus depese and Day. that they have Known one Edward R. Dalton for The past eight 8 years during which time he has been employ- ed in the way Tard, New Yerk and at the Naval station at NewLandon, Cenue, That oner about the 22d any of November 1874 the said Edward R.adal. for stated that he was born in Lindon, England on April 3d,857 and that from his general ap fearance once we believe his statement, as to the time of his birth, to be correct. albert D. him Geo. /W. Schulty I, CHARLES B. ELLIOTT, CLERK OF THE COUNTY OF KINGS State of Dork, AND CLERK OF THE SUPREME COURT OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, in and for said day 8S D COUNTY OF KINGS County, (said Court being a Court of Record,) DO HEREBY CERTIFY, that before whom the same, Ruly annexed deposition was ran Runt taken, was, at the time of taking the a NOTARY PUBLIC of the State of New York, in and for the said County, dwelling SIDAL in said County, commissioned and sworn, and duly authorized to administer oaths for general purposes, and, further, that I am well acquainted with the handwriting of such Notary, and verily believe the signature to said deposition is genuine. In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto set my band and affixed the seal of said County and Connt, this 26 day of CLERK
