Norwich it Remembered, That headpay Dawson
of
in the County of New London,
but late of the
Kingdom of. breat Britain (England) appeared before the Superior
Court
in and for said County of New London, at Norwich,
in said County, on the
12th
day of March
A.D.1875.
The said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction and a Clerk and Seal,
and declared on Oath that it was bona fide his intention to become a Citizen of the United States, and
to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every, Foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereignty
whatever,
and particularly to the Government of. Great Britain to Ireland

I, Webster Park, Clerk of the said Superior Court in and for said County
of Vew London, do hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of
