Place of Birth breand State of Connecticut, COUNTY OF NEW LONDON. } Morris welch James anklin Citizens of the Monited States and residents of norwich being duly swarn, say thatthey all well acquainted with the above named applicant, and that the said applicant has resided within the Usinited States for the continuous term of Two years immediately preceding the 25th day of sept 1880 and in the State of Connecticut for the term of two years immediately preceding the 25th day of sept 1880 and that during that time he behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happi- ness of the samel And the said dipoment furthersary that thesaid applicant came to the United States white he was a minat, under the age of as years, and that he is now more than 21 years of age!
