City and County of Philadelphia, SS.
is. it Remembered, That before the Prothondary of the Courts of
Common Pleas for the County of Philadelphia, on the 6th
day of
Hanning the of found thousand
in year oui one eight hundred
and appeared thank Gillan dau
who upon his solem oath did depose and say, that he is a Hative of
Scottand now residing in the City of Philadelphia, aged
31 years, or thereatouts, and that it is BONA FIDE his intention to
becume a of the United States, and to renounce forever all allegiance
and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sorreignity whaterei,
and particularly to the QUEEN OF GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND, of whom he is
now a subject.
In Mitness Allhereof, T have hereunto set my hand and
its
afficed the seal of the said Courts, this
day
of January in the year one thousand eight
hundred and ninety. one (1897).
