Court of Common Pleas, within and for the County of Washington, in the State aforesaid,
being a Court of Record, and on oath made the following Declaration :
I, William Brown Barr
of
Stonington
in the County of New London
of Comecticut
and Stdie aforesaid, on oath declare
that I was born in Scotland in the year / 844
and arrived in the United States in the year 1888
that it is BONA-FIOE my intention to become a
GITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES,
and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, State or
sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria. 2ney
of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom I am a subject; so help
me God.
