QUINCY 69, MASS. OCTOBER 10 57 U.S.A.
PRESIDENT
DWIGHT D, EISENHOWER
WHITE HOUSE
WASHINGTON D.C.
HONORABLE SIR,
Altho Intergration may be accompolished by force and the Persecution
of thewhite children of Little Rock Arkansas, I think it one of the most
disgraceful acts I have ever known in the United States
I live in what is termed the middle bracket and see more of what goes on then the
people do that lives in the higher bracket, as you do
Intergration never aught to have been permitted even in the northern states
Mr. President, you are judging people as man to man and you dont see the most
disgraceful situations that exist amongst the lower class of living, caused by
intergration, altho mutual
is it an honer to see white women living with negros raising familys with some
children white and some black,
Mr President, it is bad enough to have intergration by mutual consent but when
the Supreme Court & the Government of the United States use force against the will
of the white children of the U.S., ; it is tearing down all the good prestige you
have created all over the world and the United States
Mr President, I am only one amongst thousands that realise the seriousness of the
situation in regards to Intergration
laws we have to have but there is some that should be eliminated from the records
Mr, President I BEG of you for the sake of the white children to request the
removel of the colored students & the troupes from Little Rock, at once
Mr President, you & your administration have done more to improve conditions in the
United States then any before you BUT unless intergration is stopped at least
untill a peaceful solution can be reached, the country will be worse offthen when
you took office
again Mr President I beg of you to act at once in behalf of the white children of
Little Rock Arkansas
THANK YOU
I AM
HOPEFULLY YOURS
