THE WHITE HOUSE
WASHINGTON
February 18, 1948
Dear Mrs. Roosevelt:
Thanks for yours of the thirteenth (written
on Mrs. Truman's birthday). I had ex-
pected all along to reappoint Mrs. Harron
to the Tax Court but I am more than happy
that you found it necessary to ask me to do
it.
Judge Florence Allen came to see me and I
had a very pleasant visit and conversation
with her. I also told her that I had expected
all along to reappoint Mrs. Harron.
I hope everything is going well with you.
What do you think of the Bronx and Ed Flynn's
control now ?
Sincergly your's,
Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt
