I shall\nalso attend daily mass and offer Hdy Communion\nfor you.\nI do not want to burden you with too long\na Petter- this is just an example of how the Blessed\nMother helped in answer to my prayers.\nof very dear friend 61 years of age, suffered u stroke\nsix years ago and was just recorring her speech when\nshe contracted sleeping sickness. Two of our leading\nphysicans said there was absolutely MO hope for her.\nwhen I heard this, I took a Perpetual Help medal out\nto the hospital and asked her daughter to pin it on her\nmother's gown or pillaw slip. They are not a batholic family.\nThe medal was pinned to the sheet on her bed. Two days later\nthe doctors said there was an improvement and the mother\nwould very likely recover. Three weeks later the mother was\night\nsame\nthank you and god Bless you\nallowed to go home-enturely cured:- how, the doctors said\nthey would never understand.\nThe daughter returned the medal to me the\nfollowing Wednesday. I asked her to give it to her\nmother to keep always because I was confident her\nmother was saved by Mary's intercession. This\nfamily were of the opinion, however, that good care and\ntheir mother's will power. kept her on this earth. The\nfollowing Friday the mother had another stroke and these\nsame doctors said nothing could be done to save her. The\ndaughter phoned me, asking if she could have the medal\nagain to place near her mother- The medal was pinned\nto her mothers goun. Ten days Pater the mother was\nsitting up and Past week (one month after her second stroke/\nthe daughter brought her mother to see ma. She feels and\nlooks latter than she has for years.
