I do not want to burden you with too long a Petter- this is just an example of how the Blessed Mother helped in answer to my prayers. of very dear friend 61 years of age, suffered u stroke six years ago and was just recorring her speech when she contracted sleeping sickness. Two of our leading physicans said there was absolutely MO hope for her. when I heard this, I took a Perpetual Help medal out to the hospital and asked her daughter to pin it on her mother's gown or pillaw slip. They are not a batholic family. The medal was pinned to the sheet on her bed. Two days later the doctors said there was an improvement and the mother would very likely recover. Three weeks later the mother was ight same thank you and god Bless you allowed to go home-enturely cured:- how, the doctors said they would never understand. The daughter returned the medal to me the following Wednesday. I asked her to give it to her mother to keep always because I was confident her mother was saved by Mary's intercession. This family were of the opinion, however, that good care and their mother's will power. kept her on this earth. The following Friday the mother had another stroke and these same doctors said nothing could be done to save her. The daughter phoned me, asking if she could have the medal again to place near her mother- The medal was pinned to her mothers goun. Ten days Pater the mother was sitting up and Past week (one month after her second stroke/ the daughter brought her mother to see ma. She feels and looks latter than she has for years. Two of our leading\nphysicans said there was absolutely MO hope for her.\nwhen I heard this, I took a Perpetual Help medal out\nto the hospital and asked her daughter to pin it on her\nmother's gown or pillaw slip. They are not a batholic family.\nThe medal was pinned to the sheet on her bed. Two days later\nthe doctors said there was an improvement and the mother\nwould very likely recover.
