In the morning, the President had his daily intelligence and national security briefings. He then spoke to the National Religious Broadcasters at the Washington Sheraton. Back at the White House, the President met with his senior aides and spoke with German Chancellor Helmut Kohl. In the afternoon, he met for a rehearsal of his upcoming State of the Union Address, and talked with senior advisors about Operation Desert Storm.
